Jackie Sojico is a podcast producer and audio engineer. As a Filipino and Chinese kid who grew up in the south, Jackie has always been interested in stories that explore identity and belonging. And as a kid who loved Animorphs, Jackie also loves stories about animals and how humans relate to them. Right now, she is a producer at Criminal and This Is Love.
Before that, Jackie was a producer for The Longest Shortest Time where she worked on stories about family estrangement, reproductive health, how animals parent, and why we care so much about our childhood toys. She was also a senior producer at Stitcher working on Lovers And Friends With Shan Boodram, a producer and engineer at KALW, a reporter at Nebraska Public Radio, and an itinerant facilitator for StoryCorps. Her work has aired on KALW’s Crosscurrents, Harvest Public Media, Backstory Radio, and the podcast Out There.
